Once Marius decides that the story must be true, he also decides that he must see the Mother and the Father and make sure that they are safe. As he sits in bed one night, he senses another vampire's presence and discovers that the Mother has come to see him. Without words, she tells him to take them out of Egypt. She disappears as quickly as she appears, but he is able to follow her presence into an underground chamber. Marius finds them both in disarray when he gets to them and is startled when another burnt vampire appears in the chamber. Marius suggests to this vampire that he drink from them but Enkil quickly knocks him back before he can.....
