Part 4, Chapter 2 Summary

Armand approaches with another, older female vampire. She taunts Armand and tells him that she had predicted the day would come when other vampires would live among mortals. Now that it is happening, she is having her laugh. Armand and his followers explain to Lestat why they follow the old rules and how it keeps them together. Armand tells them that they should not walk the earth freely since they are evil beings. They also feel that Lestat has broken the rules by creating another vampire outside of their rituals and also by making himself known to mortals as he had done the night on stage at the theatre when he was shot......
