Part 3, Chapter 4 Summary

Lestat's fears are quelled when he sees Gabrielle rise the next night. He wants to show her the rest of the tower and the jewels. He also insists on going back to Paris to see Roget and offer an explanation as to why Gabrielle has disappeared. She does not understand Lestat's need to connect with mortals. While they are talking, Gabrielle notices with dread that the hair that she had cut off the night before has now fully grown back. This alarms her and she goes into a fit of hysterics. Lestat instead braids the hair.....
