Part 2, Chapter 1 Summary

During the night an intruder comes into the room and snatches Lestat out of the window and into the cold night. Again, Lestat hears the word "wolfkiller" come to him. Although he attempts to fight against the creature, he is at his mercy and calling after Nicki for help. The creature sinks his fangs into Lestat and he knows then that it is a vampire that has him. While the vampire drinks from him, Lestat is filled with various dreamlike images that he does not want to end. To him, it is like rapture.
