Summary

The group ends up in a small mountain town in New Mexico. Percy and Bianca briefly talk while the others get supplies. She explains that she and Nico never had any mortal parents and most of their childhood was a blur. She says she joined the Hunters because she wanted to have a life of her own, and because she knew there would be people like Percy at the camp to protect him. She also thanks Percy for trying to save the two of them from Dr. Thorn when they first met.

The group uses the downtime to get some food, but end up being attacked by the skeletal monsters that the General conjured up.
