The Nineteenth Summary

It is Jessica's 18th birthday. She is hanging out with Len at his house. Jessica is trying to impress his mother because Len told Jessica about Jessica doing drugs at the New Year's Eve party and her previous encounter with Marcus. Len's mother makes a joke, that Jessica doesn't really think is a joke, about Jessica being arrested now if she does things that are illegal.

The Nineteenth Analysis

Jessica realizes that Len is extremely nice guy. She is doubting whether she is good enough for Len or not. The challenge Jessica faces is that she knows if she breaks up with Len that there isn't a nicer guy in their high school that she could possibly date.
