Chapter 11, Greeting Party Summary and Analysis

A group of spirits came into the garden and greeted Ms. Eadie. It was a graduation party of sorts, celebrating Ms. Eadie's return from her time on Earth. Ms. Eadie's three monks were there as well as her guides. The guides told Ms. Eadie she had died prematurely and that this was not a graduation party but to show her what it would be like when she returned again. The guides told Ms. Eadie that when a person dies their spirits leave their bodies immediately, sometimes even before death as in a sudden, traumatic death. Then the spirits are given the choice of moving on to the spirit world or remaining on Earth. The guides also told Ms. Eadie that the more knowledge the spirit has before going to Earth, the faster they will accomplish their mission and acquire more knowledge...
