Love

Love is an important theme in the novel “City of Heavenly Fire” by Cassandra Clare. The form of love dealt with in the novel is principally romantic, and affects various characters in different ways, with each character in turn affecting the plot of the novel and the series. Two couples in particular – Jace and Clary, Simon and Isabelle – come to heavily influence the plot through love.
