Westeros

Westeros is the continent on which the Seven Kingdoms reside. They are ruled by the King on the Iron Throne.

The Gift

The Gift is land near the Wall that has been granted to the Night's Watch. Stannis claims this land when he comes to the Wall.

The Seven Kingdoms

The Seven Kingdoms are on the continent of Westeros. They are ruled by separate kings, but the king on the Iron Throne rules them all.

The Wall

The Wall is a large wall in the north that divides the civilized lands from the wild north and the wilding lands. The Night's Watch is in charge of guarding the Wall. After the Others attack the Night's Watch at Fist of the First Men, the Watch flees back past the Wall. The wildings scale the Wall to invade the Seven Kingdoms.
