Chapter 31, Jon and Chapter 32, Jaime Summary

The wildings are preparing to climb the walls. Jon and Ygritte watch the race from below, as Mance Rayder has promised new swords to whomever reaches the top first. A section of wall gives way and Jarl and a few others fall and are killed. Some men finally reach the top and send down ladders to the others. Jon and Ygritte get to the top, and Yrgitte says it is too bad they did not find the Horn of Winter, the Horn of Joramun. It would have brought the whole wall down, she tells Jon. She says that was what the wildings were looking for in the Frostfangs. They opened many graves while looking, letting out shades.

Jaime is forced to ride with Brienne since he lost his hand and cannot balance on a horse...
