Chapter 23, Arya Summary

Arya, Gendry, and the outlaws are trying to find Lord Beric. They visit an old man and a woman called the Lady of the Leaves in order to find out where Lord Beric is. Both tell the outlaws that Beric was killed, but in different ways. They make camp for the night at a place called High Heart. Arya awakens during the night to see some of the outlaws talking to an old dwarf woman, who is telling them her dreams. She dreams of a shadow killing a stag, a man without a face and a drowned crow on a bridge, and a dead woman who was a fish with bloody tears on her cheeks. The outlaws pay her with a song. The next day, the outlaws tell Arya the woman has told them where Lord Beric is. They stop at...
