Chapter 3, Catelyn Summary

Catelyn is confronted by Ser Desmond Grell and Utherydes Wayn, two of her father's men. They punish her for releasing Jaime by confining her to father's chambers until her brother, Ser Edmure, returns. Catelyn's father, Lord Holster Tully, is very sick, and Catelyn wants to be near him to take care of him. While with her father, Catelyn hears her father mumbling about blood and babies. She infers that her sister Lysa was pregnant before marrying Lord Jon Arryn and Lord Holster forced Lysa to have an abortion. Lord Holster made Lysa marry Lord Jon as his price for joining Robert Baratheon's rebellion.

A raven arrives at the castle with the news that Catelyn's son Robb Stark was wounded storming the Crag, but it is not serious. Catelyn writes a letter to Lysa urging her sister to come to see her...
