The Knife

The knife Jen finds in Todd's backpack is a symbol of the crime he is going to commit.

The Pumpkin

Jen carves a pumpkin that is a symbol of the Halloween season. She does not want to do this, and the fact that she does is a symbol of her feeling that she has to do what is expected.
