Summary

In Chapter 6, in order to disguise their continued affair, Ben grew closer with Charles, and Malabar with Lily. Meanwhile, Malabar scoffed privately at Lily's home and garden, suggesting to Adrienne that she would be able to provide a better life for Ben. The more time the couples spent together, the more anxious Adrienne became. Malabar and Ben were not discreet. Despite their frequent escapades, Malabar was desperate for more time with Ben. He, Malabar, and Adrienne concocted a plan, and announced it to the others at dinner. Together, they would write a cookbook called Wild Game, a project which would require them to co-create recipes. Charles and Lily agreed.
