Prologue, Whispers From the Dead Summary

Sarah, the main character, sits down to write her own story. She is tall with dark hair and is almost seventeen years old. She takes a swimming trip with best friend Marcie, as well as Kent, Barbie, and Andy. The friends have known each other since childhood. Sarah has feelings for Andy, who is two years older than she is. Sarah is musing under the water and comes up for air, but unfortunately Kent slams into her, driving her down into the weeds at the bottom of the lake.
