Alex's Childhood Home

Alex grows up in a modest home in a middle-class neighborhood near Madison, Wisconsin. The house has two stories and a large yard that Bertha uses as a garden. There is a loose panel in Alex's closet where she hides things. The descriptions of this place are general, and usually only included as part of the events that Alex remembers from her childhood. Alex's Apartment
