Citra Terranova

Citra is the newly ordained Scythe Anastasia. During the events of Scythe, she trained first under Scythe Faraday and then under Scythe Curie, learning to put her compassion for humanity first. She became a scythe at the end of the first novel and decided to spend her junior scythehood under the guidance of Scythe Curie. In Thunderhead, Citra uses an unconventional gleaning method: she tells her chosen victims that she will glean then, allows them to choose their method of death, and gives them time to get their affairs in order before the permanent end to their lives. She garners support in the scythedom, especially among new junior scythes. She has become close friends with Scythe Curie, whom she calls Marie.
