Summary
Debbie wants to take both her parents shopping to get her father a new suit. Debbie offers to pay for it, but both parents think it would be better if she did not. Gail thinks this is a great chance to reason with Debbie, but Max disagrees. He maintains that she is an adult. Gail is frustrated that Max does not let arguments go. She insists that what bothers her most is that Kenneth lied to Debbie.
Gail now thinks that she might possibly go back to teaching after thinking about Max’s comment about her reaching reluctant students. He offers to try to get her a job where he works.
