Chapter Sixteen Summary

Reeve tries to be happy for Todd and Heather, and supportive of Megan and Lizzie. Lizzie follows him into the den, and closing the door she tells him that they have to talk about Hannah. After making him promise not to tell Janie about their conversation, she reveals that her law firm is handling some of the issues related to the cult she had joined. Surprisingly, they had kept very detailed records from which Lizzie finds Hannah. Reeve can hardly breathe. She tells Reeve Hannah is dead and when he asks Lizzie if she is sure, she assures him it is a matter of public record.
