Chapter Four Summary

In November, Sarah-Charlotte arranges Lipstick Day at school. When Van asks Janie for her print, she is happy to comply and he shows off the jawbone space he saved just for hers. She carefully plants one on him after reapplying color. A school photographer corners her, trying to get her photo for the yearbook, but she puts her hand up every time, insisting that she isn't a senior.
