Chapter Fifteen Summary

When Reeve gets home, his sisters greet him, looking stunning. Even his brother Todd looks tanned, happy and in love. His bride to be is equally stunning, and Reeve is able to fold into himself. Reminding himself that he has willpower to spare, Reeve walks next door to face Janie and her parents. The Johnson family eats Thanksgiving dinner at a local restaurant, dressing up for the occasion. Mrs. Johnson invites him to take Janie for a ride, providing he returns her within an hour since they have company coming for coffee and dessert. Reeve turns to Janie, and sees her blank expression, but appreciates whatever chance he'll have to talk to her.
