Point of View

The Rose Code is told in the third-person point-of-view through the eyes of the three main characters: Osla, Mab, and Beth. While there are some similarities between them - such as their view on society - there are enough distinct differences that make each character unique. For example, Osla struggles with the feeling that she wants to do more for her country, even though she has to give up everything she loves. Mab explores the relationship between men and women and discusses the complexity of grief. Lastly, Beth focuses on her journey to find her self-worth and her freedom, both from her mother in the past and Clockwell in the future.
