The Alice Network Overview

The Alice Network by Kate Quinn is a historical novel set in the Europe. In 1947, when Charlotte “Charlie” St. Clair meets Evelyn “Eve” Gardiner by chance in London, they take an instant dislike to one another. Charlie arrived at Eve’s London apartment looking for information about her cousin, Rose. Little do they know how much they will discover they have in common as they travel through England and confront their respective demons. Themes in the novel include the power of friendship, the struggle against gender roles, and the effects of war on both nations and people.
