Summary

In Chapter 9, as Zola, Todd and Mark continued to wait for news about Gordy, Zola told them her parents had been arrested and taken to a holding facility. They had been arrested by armed agents and given only an hour to pack what belongings they could carry with them.

Meanwhile, Brenda and he parents paid a visit to Gordy’s apartment. They found it spotless thanks to Zola. A framed picture of Brenda, that Gordy had been hiding in a drawer, was displayed in the bedroom.
