Summary

In Chapter 24, Todd and Mark took Zola to visit her parents. They still did not know when they would be leaving but Zola told them to contact her if they could so that she could alert the lawyer.

The next day, Mark paid a visit to his mother to tell her he was taking a semester off from law school. During their conversation, he warned her that because of his situation, Louie did not have a chance to avoiding jail time. When she told him how miserable Louie was and how he did nothing but watch television, sleep and gripe about his problems, Mark suggested having his court date moved up.
