Summary

In Chapter 5, even though Zola and Todd were sleeping in his living room, Gordy was able to sneak out of the apartment. The three friends discussed what they should do for Gordy. Zola was the only one who was familiar with his mental illness so she described to them how he had told her only after she found his medication. He had been diagnosed in college and was able to hold things together with the medication and therapy. She thought he had come to a point where he had decided he no longer needed the medication, a choice that had resulted in his downward spiral.
