Summary

In Chapter 48, Frankie joined Frost at the hospital. She told him her theory that Darren could not have been the Night Bird because he suffered leukophobia, a fear of the color white brought on by his experience in the snow fort. She pointed out that his clothes were brightly colored and that even the ceilings in his house were not white. She also noted Darren had even painted the door to his storage unit green. Frost pointed out the evidence against Darren but Frankie argued neither of them had seen who killed Darren. She suggested Todd had not been drugged but instead Darren was the one who had been drugged. Todd had time to kill Darren and then set up the scene to look like Lucy had committed the murder.
