Summary

Chapter 11

Percy and Jason start to fight, but Piper is able to use her charmspeak ability to cause them to hesitate, though not stop fighting outright. The two start to talk to her and reveal that it isn’t Gaea controlling them, but actually spirits known as Eidolons. Piper is able to quickly figure out that it was one of the Eidolons that possessed Leo and caused him to fire on the ship. The two start to go back to fighting, but Piper is able to trick them into just knocking each other out instead of trying to kill one another. Once they are subdued, she brings them both back to the ship where they are treated and eventually wake up without the spirits in them.
