Summary
The man, the driver, and the translator travelled to meet a warden named Jose Miguel who used to work on the finca where the last wolf was killed. In the present, customers began to arrive at the bar. The customers were a wide mix of nationalities including Turkish, German, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Romanian, and Vietnamese. The story briefly switches to the perspective of the barman who reflects that he is glad the man comes in every day because it meant that he was not alone during the quiet hours.
