Chapters 13-15 Summary

Chapter 13

Colonel Kassad is alone, diving between the walls of the Time Tombs as he exchanges shots with an unseen sniper. He pours everything he has into a salvo that sets fire to the Crystal Tomb. He enters the tomb and looks up a shaft to the top of the tower, spotting a figure silhouetted against the open sky. Kassad climbs the stair on the inside of the tower.

Chapter 14

Severn attends a dinner on God's Grove, the home planet of the Templars. Severn finds himself seated with two people with direct ties to the Hyperion pilgrims.
