Point of View

The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower is told from a third-person omniscient point of view. The action is primarily seen through the eyes of the ka-tet members, which include Roland Deschain, Susannah Dean, Eddie Dean, Jake Chambers and even Oy. These are the main characters in the novel, the ones who are journeying to find the Dark Tower and save existence. By telling the story through each of the eyes, a different perspective on the events is shown. Even though they are all members of the same group, they still have differing opinions and takes on the events that transpire. It also allows other members of the ka-tet to continue the story after some of the members die.
