Summary

In Chapter 19. Clover explores the home while Claudia sleeps. As Clover feels the home does not represent its owner, Sebastian returns with a cello. The two leave in an Uber and Clover learns his parents and three sisters live in Connecticut. However, they refuse to tell Claudia that she only has a few months to live, nor do they visit her, which angers Sebastian. Even though she has home health aides, Sebastian hopes Clover can help Claudia deal with the emotions that will come. Clover mentions her parents and Grandpa before mentioning she cannot lie forever. He asks for more time to convince his father and she agrees to two weeks.

Chapter 20 continues as Clover runs into Leo at a local pharmacy. They go to a diner as Leo shares information about other people's lives. Then, on the way home, Clover notes Leo...
