Chapter 19 Summary

Borlu and Tsueh struggle and fight inside of the apartment; Borlu tells Yolanda that he isn't with the militsya and that he wants to help her. Borlu says he figured out Tsueh was helping Yolanda when Tsueh started asking him about the investigation. Yolanda says that they killed Mahalia and they will kill her. When Borlu asks who they are, Yolanda says the third place, between the city and the city.

Yolanda claims that they got to Dr. Bowden too. Yolanda says that Mahalia was contacted by the Orcinians after Mahalia made a fuss at the conference. Yolanda tells Borlu that she doesn't know where Orciny is or how Mahalia found it, just that there are access points. Yolanda says they sent a letter to Mahalia and then they would send letters back and forth between each other.
