Chapters 25 and 26 Summary

Ms. McSoren wakes Bettina up for a phone call from Babs. Babs is angry that Bettina got caught having sex with Hailer Morse and that now she'll have to come to school for a meeting with the dean and Mags. When Bettina sees Cape in the lunchroom, they plan to meet at the boathouse.

They talk about their strategy for not getting kicked out of school. This is when Cape finds out Bettina's mother is a chocolate heiress and that his father was having an affair with her mother. He asks if his mother knew and accuses Bettina of purposely seeking him out at school.
