Coriolanus Snow

Coriolanus is a teenager who is from a wealthy and powerful family in the Capitol of Panem. His family has fallen on hard times as a result of a civil war that ended about a decade earlier. The family lost a fortune, and both of Coriolanus's parents died during that time. Coriolanus has been living with his cousin Tigris and their grandmother, a woman they call Grandma'am. Coriolanus is among the 24 teenagers chosen to be mentors to the tributes who are to fight in the Hunger Games. He initially sets out to make a decent showing and gain some recognition. When he decides that he loves his assigned tribute – Lucy Gray Baird – he becomes determined to help her win.
