Summary

The smoke clears in Chapter 74, and Leigh is in a large room watching Dory and Brian being introduced. The scene changes to an empty auditorium as they both sit at a piano bench. Another flash takes her to Brian’s apartment as Dory informs him that her sister died. She says that she is done with the summer program and Brian asks to go with her to Taiwan. He says he wants to be with her. Another flash takes Leigh to the airport where Dory meets Waigong who tells her Jingling died of an aneurysm. In another flash, her mother is talking to Brian who says he misses her and is coming to Taiwan because he wants to meet her parents. When she hangs up, Waipo asks who she was talking to. When Waipo leaves, Dory overhears them talking about an American classmate...
