Chapters 7-9 Summary

Hannah and Teagan are talking about Hannah's interactions at work today with Josh and Finn, as Chapter 7 opens. Although Teagan continues to point out that Josh obviously likes Hannah, and that Josh is Hannah's long-time crush, Hannah continues to worry about whether or not her positive reaction to her almost-kiss with Finn means anything. She remembers that she thought about doing more than just kissing Finn-but not much more. When Teagan points out that Hannah appears more concerned about what happened with Finn than with the fact that Josh seems to like her, Hannah responds that she is only worried about being like her father. Unconvinced, Teagan instructs Hannah to actually buy Josh coffee tomorrow and ask him out.
