Chapters Fourteen and Fifteen Summary

Returning to the US, Cassie faces the intense scrutiny of the press as Alex's new wife. She meets Michaela Snow, Alex's press agent, who magically appears and keeps him from striking a nosy photographer. Cassie observes Alex as he performs for the press. When Ophelia arrives, she sees the bruises on Cassie's neck, and Cassie feels the energy spark between Ophelia and Alex. Ophelia feels Alex will hurt Cassie, and she realizes that Cassie will always get more attention than her, now that she is married to Alex.
