Chapter Six Summary

A beautiful woman comes to Cassie's door and makes herself at home. She learns that this is her friend and former roommate, Ophelia, who has a slightly toxic relationship with Alex, who refers to her as Cassie's only character flaw. Ophelia is a self-obsessed hand model trying to break into show business; she has a cast on her forearm from having slipped in the mud. She suggests that Cassie losing her memory is convenient for Alex and asks him if he has re-portrayed himself as a saint to her.

Cassie was supposed to go to Kenya with a class. Ophelia thinks Alex decided she will go to Scotland, and feels Alex has always been trying to swallow Cassie whole.

Later, Cassie asks Alex why she does not see Connor but Alex says he doesn't know. He has brought her a box...
