Feng-Li Lin

Feng-Li is the youngest child of the Lin family. She has an older sister named Jia-Xi and an older brother named Ke-Gang. Feng-Li is 10 years old when the family arrives in Los Angeles. She tends to be happy and excited about the new situation, but she is really upset when her parents return to Taiwan.

Feng-Li is predictably nervous about beginning a new school, but her struggle is more difficult because she knows very little English at the beginning.
