Summary

In Chapter 25, narrated by Liz, Topher stammers that Elliot had wanted to tell him something, but Topher would not talk to him. Erin orders everyone out of Elliot’s room because it is a crime scene and then checks Elliot’s pulse to confirm he is dead.

In Chapter 26, narrated by Erin, Danny curses when Erin tells him what happened. She and Danny discuss the possibility that Elliot might have committed suicide. Erin argues there were no signs he had been attacked, but something could have been put in his coffee. They believe they will be safer together since there might be a murderer among them, so they go upstairs together to look in Elliot’s cup. Erin discovers there is a chalky substance there.

Erin also points out the way Elliot’s computer had been destroyed. It was wrapped in a towel...
