Summary

In Chapter 6, Inti and her team members continue to monitor the wolves, each of which has a tracking collar affixed by Inti and her team. Inti and her team members are worried about the fact that the wolves have mostly remained in one area so far, as migration is vital to wolf survival. Inti and her team members go to a local bar one night. One of the patrons is a local man named Red McCrae, who has vocally spoken out against the wolf reintroduction project. Red approaches Inti in the bar and speaks almost threateningly to her and her team members. Stuart Burns is also present. Inti obliquely confronts him about his abuse of Lainey.
