Summary

Tara felt increasingly isolated from Thomas because so much had happened to her since the first 18th of November and there was now so much distance between them each morning when she tried to tell explain the situation and catch him up with their notes and observations and attempts to understand what was happening. Eventually, Tara found it too difficult to continue explaining everything to Thomas each morning and that is when she decided to move into the guest room instead. She listened to Thomas’s movements in the house and made sure that he did not realize that she was there. This meant that she no longer had to explain her presence in the house to him and he continued with his day every day as if nothing was amiss.
