Chapters Nine - Ten Summary

In Chapter Nine, Susannah tells Father Dominic about her experience at the Beaumont mansion and the ghost of the woman with the message. She now suspects that Mr. Red Beaumont did, indeed, kill the woman. Due to Susannah's information regarding the closed shutters, Mr. Beaumont saying he is sensitive to light, and her perception of him staring at her neck and her cross necklace, Father Dom concludes that Mr. Beaumont is a vampire. While Father Dom is thinking about his conclusion, Susannah thinks about her coffee date with Tad Beaumont.
