Wen

Wen is a freshman at Opequonsett High School, and he notices the juniors and seniors and emulates their behavior so that he will be popular one day. This fails when he brings his father's girlfriend's nude self-portraits to school one day and ends up in detention. He plays trumpet though and is responsible for holding the group together.

Stella

Stella relocated to Rhode Island from Arizona and soon after, cut off all her long hair. She was not fitting in at school and got test results that indicated her IQ was only 84. She is the rebel in the group until she founds out that she isn't stupid, she just has dyslexia and ADHD.

Sydney

Sydney is Wen's father's girlfriend, his fiancée, and then his wife. She is young and Wen resents her butting in on their family, but his father loves her. Wen seems to have a...
