Chapter 6 Summary

Olivia writes to Ted that Nancy has died. She says that she wants to call Wen, but can't let herself. He calls nonetheless, and shows up with Stella and Charlie when he hears that she's upset. She says that she and Brenda and Wen buried Nancy and had a beautiful ceremony. She adds that she survived the dance, and now she's nervous about what comes next.

Wen describes sitting on the flat roof outside of Olivia's window, the five of them, trying to identify shapes in clouds. He describes having come over to meet Brenda, Olivia's grandmother, and the burial. The band stars to analyze their performance, and expects to get detention at least.
