Chapter 1 Summary

In a short prologue, Naomi Fishmeier says that she is the authority on the rise and fall of Lemonade Mouth.

Wen narrates a scene in which he complains about Sydney, his father's girlfriend, who has made him late for school. Arriving at school, he says that is a freshman, and he envies the juniors, and emulates their mannerisms so that he will be popular one day. But when he gets to class, he finds that he has grabbed the wrong envelope, and instead of photocopies for his social studies presentation, he grabbed the nude self-portraits Sydney had done for her drawing class.
