Summary

Chapter 6 is titled Many Far Wiser. They take Mark to his old bedroom, which is dusty and bare of Mark's things. Other members of the family arrive to see for themselves. They realize Mark is bleeding but he become hysterical when they try to mark a healing rune on his skin. They try to identify Emma and Ty, but Mark refuses to believe it, saying Ty “is a little boy” (144). Christina urges everyone out of the room to give Mark time to begin to deal with the situation. Diana agrees they will investigate without alerting the Clave, though she hates the situation. She sends Julian and Emma to see Malcolm with the new information about the translation.
