Chapters 39 and 40 Summary

Liam wakes up in the cell. He can hear his uncle on his radio show from the radio Dino is listening to in the station. Pete is hosting a poll on whether he should spring his nephew or ship him off. Liam listens as most of the callers vote to ship Liam off. Pete ends his show with the Alice Cooper song, No More Mr. Nice Guy.

Aunt Pete shows up and tells Dino he's taking Liam home. When they get home, Pete ask Liam why he went to the party, got drunk and was the only one that got caught. Liam admits to not getting in the car with Joe because he was drunk. Pete asks if he can think ahead like that why Liam doesn't think things through more often.
