Chapter 10 Summary

Jack rides back to the station in contemplation. He hasn't seen his brother in seven years, and the last time, Joe had been with the Treasury Department. Reacher plays his cards close, wanting to find Hubble himself. He confirms Finlay is happy with his alibi and leaves the station telling them he needs a walk. Roscoe goes out after him, and offers him a ride and Jack asks her to take him by Hubble's house. They find the house empty, but as they return to the car, Mrs. Hubble pulls into the driveway with her children. They wait but Paul doesn't show. When they leave, Roscoe asks Jack where he's staying, offering to take him home. He accepts, and they barely make it in her front door before they undress each other.
